Jalfrezi

Jalfrezi, means dry fry and was originally a dish from the days of the Raj, now found on many restaurant menus this deliciously hot curry generally cooked with chicken does not have a lot of sauce.
To increase the spicy heat you can add some more chopped fresh chillies.
This dish is best accompanied with pilau rice and naan bread or chappatis.

Other ingredients you will require:
1-1/2 lb. Chicken Breast, diced
4 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 large onion, chopped
2 green chillies (finely chopped)
1/2 each of green and red pepper (chopped)
2 tbspns chopped fresh coriander leaves
3 fresh tomatoes, chopped
salt to taste
lemon juice (optional)

Serves 3-4 people
